Chase's POV

I woke up around 6 a.m. so I could prepare for classes. I woke up Adam and Bree with the buiilt in alarm. I shook Leo's shoulder and he tried to hug me. "Try that again and you will fly out the window." He removed his hand and got up. I walked over to wake up Aura.

She was gone.

"Aura's gone. Call Davenport." I said franticlly. "She's probably in the bathroom, or preparing her class." Bree said. "Let's just go to class. We can alert Davenport to keep an eye out." She reassured me. "Fine. If she isn't back by lunch, we're alerting the students and checking the tapes." I said. Bree nodded and put her hand on my shoulder.

Aura's POV

I woke up in a dark room. I could see decently well, since I had night vision. My hands were strapped down to a table. I tried to break the metal bands, but it wouldn't work. I attempted to superspeed out of them and burn them, to no avail. "That won't work. Your bionics are gone." A familiar voice said. "I've forcibly removed them. You won't get them back.

Ever."

Chase's POV

The day passed quickly. By lunch time, we had to cancel Aura's classes. I called Davenport to report her missing. "She's gone. She disappeared this morning." I said. "We decided to wait til now to actually report it, in case she showed up." He cursed. "Come to the main room. You need to see this." I disconnected. "Davenport needs us in the main room. It's urgent." They nodded and Bree supersped us down there. Davenport had pulled up some security tapes. "This is footage from last night, before the camera was destroyed." He zoomed in on the dark room. A dark shadow was in the edge of the room. Aura woke up and stood, walking over to it. The figure spun behind her. She turned and punched him a few times. He twisted her hand behind her back and pressed a cloth to her face. She passed out and his mask slipped.

It was Marcus.

He hefted her onto his shoulder and super sped away. He came back and cut the camera lines, ending the footage. "Marcus has Aura. We need to find her. Chase, bring up her chip's GPS." I nodded and pulled up the list of known bionic chips.

Aura wasn't on it.

"He took out her bionic chip. It's gone."
