Chapter 11
Win's simple nod was all the confirmation Bright needed. It was a silent, trusting surrender that sent a fresh wave of possessiveness and adoration crashing through him. In one fluid motion, he scooped Win up into a bridal carry, eliciting a small, surprised gasp that quickly melted into a soft laugh against his neck.
The walk to the bedroom was short, charged with an electric anticipation. Bright shouldered the door open, stepped inside, and kicked it shut behind them, enclosing them in the intimate darkness of his room, lit only by the faint ambient glow from the city lights filtering through the window.
He laid Win down on the soft duvet with a reverence usually reserved for sacred things. He followed him down, bracing himself on his arms above him, and captured his lips in another searing kiss. This one was different from the frantic one in the living room; it was slower, more deliberate, a promise of what was to come.
His hands began to move, trembling slightly with nerves and desire, as he slowly pushed Win's soft sweater up. Win's hands came up to help, and soon the garment was discarded onto the floor. Bright's shirt followed suit, tossed away without a second thought.
But as Bright's fingers went to the button of Win's jeans, he felt Win's body tense beneath him. The eager, pliant energy shifted into something hesitant, nervous. Bright immediately stilled, pulling back to look at Win's face. In the dim light, he could see the uncertainty in his eyes.
"What's wrong?" Bright asked, his voice a husky whisper, laced with concern. "We can stop. Just say the word."
Win shook his head, biting his lip. He looked down, his cheeks flaming with a blush that was visible even in the low light. "It's not that..." he mumbled, his voice so quiet Bright had to lean closer to hear. "I... I want to. I just... I've never...."
He took a shaky breath, forcing himself to meet Bright's gaze, his eyes wide with vulnerability. "I've never had sex. Not with anyone. I dated girls in university but it never... it never went that far."
A sharp, irrational spike of jealousy shot through Bright at the mention of Win dating others, but it was instantly vaporized by the staggering weight of Win's confession. Virgin. The word echoed in Bright's mind, not as a challenge, but as the most sacred of trusts being placed in his hands.
He was Win's first. His first boyfriend. His first kiss. And now, he would be his first everything else.
Any remaining urgency in Bright melted away, replaced by an overwhelming sense of protectiveness and awe. He lowered himself, brushing a soft kiss against Win's forehead, then his nose, then his lips.
"Thank you for telling me," he whispered against Win's mouth. "And for the record, you're my first, too."
Win pulled back slightly, surprised. "But you've had girlfriends before..."
"Girls, yes," Bright admitted, tracing Win's jawline. "But you... you're my first boyfriend. My first love. The first man I've ever wanted, ever touched, like this." He let the truth of that hang between them. "We're new to this together. And I promise you, I will take care of you. I'll go so slow. Your pleasure will be my only goal."
The tension drained from Win's body at Bright's words. The fear in his eyes was replaced by a deep, trusting love. He nodded again, more confidently this time. "Okay," he breathed. "I trust you."
With that permission, Bright's movements became even more tender. He slowly, carefully, removed the rest of their clothes, his touches exploratory and worshipful. When they were both completely bare, skin to skin, Bright took a moment just to look, to memorize the sight of Win laid out before him, bathed in the soft city light. He was so beautiful it hurt.
He gently laid Win back down and kissed him. It was not the hungry, consuming kiss from before, but something infinitely softer, sweeter. He kissed him like he was something fragile and precious, a delicate doll to be cherished. And to Bright, in that moment, he was. Win was the most priceless thing he had ever been given.
He mapped Win's body with his lips and hands, learning the sounds he made, the places that made him shiver. He was patient, meticulous, and utterly devoted. This wasn't just about sex; it was about communion. It was about showing Win, in the most intimate way possible, just how deeply and completely he was loved. The world outside, with all its complications, ceased to exist. There was only this room, this bed, and the two of them, discovering a new universe in each other's arms.
