you and eddie had just received the news that you had less than 24 hours to live, unless they could figure out a way to stop it.
which you, no offence, highly doubt.
you bite your lip a bit,
oh well, guess it was my time to go.. but to be honest, i thought i'd die a cooler death than by this vecna creep
eddie looks over at you, he had just been warned to keep a very close eye on you at all times.
you breathe out, "man, no fucking wonder i've been seeing all this shit. and those shitty headaches and nightmares.."
you shake your head, rubbing your eyes, barely caring whether your mascara was getting smudged or not.
you glance to the side, down at your walkman.
you look up a bit with a small chuckle, "well, at least i'll never have to deal with those shitty parents of mine ever again"
eddie frowns, "don't say that, they're going to find a way to save you and max"
you shake your head, standing up, "please, don't give me false.. no, not hope. false information. i could honestly care less if i dropped dead right this second"
he watches you with a small frown as you walk over to the window, leaning on the seil and looking out.
for some reason, those words made his heart hurt.
"can't believe i have to spend my last hours in this shitty old hut, though"
he looks up at you with a small smile, "well, we can't exactly leave"
you nod with a small laugh, "i know, i know. i'm just saying"
you sigh softly, resting your chin in your palm and staring out of the window.
eddie looks down, "let's go get some food, i'm crazy starving"
you smile a bit, "yeah, sure. i could eat something"
you look out the window to make sure nobody was nearby before you both hurriedly run up to the house.
eddie closes the door behind him, and you breathe out a bit.
the blinds were all already shut and the door was locked tight.
you sit up on the kitchen bench, gripping the sides.
eddie takes some cereal from the cupboards, pouring a medium-sized bowl for you each.
you grab two spoons, having no milk, you had to eat plain cereal.
your stomach rumbles slightly as you both start to eat in silence.
after you both finished, you put your bowls in the sink and you went into the dining room.
you sit on the stool, looking down at your nails when all of a sudden music started playing.
you look back, down at the radio.
you lean down a bit, "i didn't know this shitty old thing still worked"
you stand up, turning back and blinking in shock.
eddie stood there with a soft smile, hand extended.
"care to dance, m'lady?" he says in a posh kind of voice.
a bit flabbergasted, you make no response.
he smiles, taking your hand and you snap back into reality.
he puts his hand snugly on your waist and moves your arm on his shoulder, taking your other hand.
"now, i don't know how to dance, but work with me here"
you chuckle, smiling slightly, "don't worry, i've got no clue either"

you both dance together, laughing slightly at his silly moves and both of your terrible dancing.

you rest your head on eddie's shoulder, small tears filling your eyes. you quickly blink them away.
he puts his chin on your head, closing his eyes as you both continue to dance
