a/n ; i've got a sudden motivation to update this like a million times lol
𝐂𝐇𝐀𝐏𝐓𝐄𝐑 𝐍𝐈𝐍𝐄𝐓𝐄𝐄𝐍
YOU SHAKE YOUR HEAD AT EDDIE AS HE CLIMBS UP THE ROCK, TILTING YOUR HEAD SLIGHTLY IN CONFUSION.
you whistle, "nice ass, munson!" you laugh.
his face turns bright red and he huffs, looking forward.
you snigger, robin smirks at you.
"so.. are you and eddie like.. a thing now?"
your cheeks go slightly hot and you smile, "yeah"
she pumps her fists slightly, "knew it"
you laugh.
"so, uh" you all look up at eddie.
"this place is like hawkins, but with monsters and nasty shit?"
you also look back at the others.
"pretty much" nancy pants, helping steve up.
he nods, going to step down.
"wait, watch out for the vines" nancy says hurriedly, you both look at her.
"it's all a hive mind"
"it's all a what?" eddie asks, you grimace at the slithering vine.
"all the creepy crawlies around here, dud. they're, like, one or something. you step on a vine, you're stepping on a bat, you're stepping on vecna" steve explains, you nod, "right. that's fun to know"
eddie nods also, "shit"
you slowly walk over to the rock, stepping over the vines.
you look up at him, "jump. i'll catch you"
he looked as if you just asked him to jump out of a plane with no parachute, "sorry?"
you smile, "jump! come on, i'll catch you! i'm strong, i promise!"
his mouth moves awkwardly, trying to form words.
you usher him to go, "come on!"
he sighs, "you better catch me! or else i will murder you!"
you grin, holding your arms out.
you step closer to the rock as he hangs his foot over the edge.
you squeezes his eyes shut, jumping off softly.
you lean forward, catching him in your arms bridle style.
he slowly opens his eyes as you smirk down at him, "guess i'm your knight and shining armor now, huh?"
he shakes his head, laughing softly.
you peck him on the lips.
robin fake gags, "get a room, lovebirds!"
you laugh, shaking your head and setting eddie down.
he rubs his arms, "you are stronger than you look"
robin looks back at steve and nancy, "but everything from our world is still here, right? except people, obviously?"
you both step over the vines and back over to the rest of them.
"as far as i understand it, yeah' nancy nods, you raise your eyebrows,
sounds like the kinda world i wanna live in
"so, theoretically, we could go to the police station and steal guns and grenades and whatever we need to blow up those bat things that are guarding the gate' robin says.
you shake your head, "for some reason, i really doubt the police station has grenades. but guns, hell yeah"
"well, we don't have to go all the way downtown for guns" nancy says, you all turn to her.
"i have guns.. in my bedroom"
you blink in shock, "sorry?"
"you, nancy wheeler, have guns, plural, in your bedroom?" eddie raises an eyebrow.
"full of surprises, isn't she?" robin smile.s
you shake your head,
america is fucked, man. you can just have guns in your bedroom? bloody hell..
"a russian makarov and a revolver"
"yeah, you almost shot me with that one" steve steps up behind her.
you raise your eyebrows, impressed.
"you almost deserved it" nancy smiles, you smirk.
eddie throws his jean jacket at steve, "for your modesty, dude"
you all gasp as a loud rumble comes from the ground, the ground shaking and trembling.
you and robin fall back into eddie's arms, him holding an arm securely around your waist.
"oh my god!"
"holy shit! is this what an earthquake feels like?!" you shout.
you all pant as the shaking subsides, though loud growling and screeching taking over from a distance.
"yeah, so guns seem like a pretty good idea to me"
you nod, "yup"
robin also nods, "yeah, me too"
you all sit up.
"so what are we waiting for?" steve says, him and nancy walking ahead.
you shake your head, puffing out some air and standing also, you all following behind.
