AFTER THAT MOMENT, YOU BOTH WENT TO BED FEELING ODDLY REFRESHED AND RELAXED.
it was as if that moment you both had together eased the tension of knowing that if the others didn't figure something out soon, you were sure to get killed by vecna.
it was nice.
being carefree for just a moment.
you had almost forgotten the fact you were due to be dead soon, but, you can't tell if unluckily or luckily, you had remembered the next morning.
but oddly, you weren't scared.
you had been lying earlier when you said you weren't scared and could care less about dying.
truthfully, you were utterly terrified.
sure, your life was shitty and miserable, and you were 99% sure only a week ago you would have been entirely fine to drop dead on the spot.
but ever since eddie entered your life, it felt as if you had something to live for. a purpose in life. something you had never felt before.
you felt whole when you were with him, something you hadn't felt since your sister had died.
you sigh, sitting up and rubbing your tired eyes.
you stare down at the sleeping bag for a moment, rethinking the previous night as your cheeks go hot.
"morning"
you jump a bit, looking up.
eddie chuckles with a smile, "sorry m'lady, did i scare you?"
you breathe out, huffing, "definitely not"
he laughs, though you could see he was just trying to make it seem as though nothing was wrong.
his stomach rumbles, "pff, i'm going to the house to get some food. don't move a muscle" he orders.
you smirk, "aye aye"
he chuckles, cautiously exiting.
you smile softly, watching him as he enters the house quickly.
you breathe out, falling back onto the sleeping bag.
but you freeze up as sirens approach, "shit!"
you jump up, running to the window and peeking out.
you could see the red and blue flashing lights approaching.
"shit! shit! shit!" you curse under your breath, hurrying out of the small shed and into the larger house.
"eddie! hey, eddie! sirens!"
though you raise an eyebrow at the zero response, "hey, eddie! eddie there are sirens! you need to hide!"
still no response.
you frown a bit, "eddie?"
you peek into each room, frown deepening.
he's gone? where'd he go? did he hear the sirens and make a run for it?
you huff out impatiently, walking back to the window and peeking out.
you watch nervously as multiple cop cars and two ambulances drive forward, though going straight passed the house.
you raise an eyebrow,
another murder?
you hum a bit, looking around.
fuck it
you quietly exit the house, creeping after the cars in a sort of awkward crouch-run.
you slow down as you reach the area the cars had stopped, your stomach filling with a sense of dread.
you step closer, feeling as though something was wrong.
the ambulances and police cars had stopped, though nobody was getting out.
you frown deeply, straightening up and walking closer.
your stomach drops as you take another step closer, the scene feeling awfully familiar.
you take a cautious step closer, your eyes going wide as you get full view of the accident.
two cars were collided, sideways on the ground, glass smashed and broken bits of car everywhere.
you take a shaky step closer, glass smashing beneath your foot.
your lower lip trembles, your throat feeling unnaturally dry as you catch sigh of a small girl sprawled out on the ground, blood, flesh and guts spread around her.
she was basically mutilated, looking nothing like her usual self.
in place of shining [eye colour] eyes were blank ones, her [darker/lighter hair colour] hair matted with fresh blood.
you drop to your knees, crawling forward, sharp glass piercing through your skin.
you grab the body, thick globs of tears rolling down your now shiny cheeks.
"[little sister's name]! [little sister's name]!!" you cry.
you squeeze her body tight.
"[name]..." a deep, scary voice calls, you gulp, freezing up.
you clench your jaw, making a failed attempt at performing cpr on your obviously dead younger sister.
salty tears drip into your mouth, snot coming from your nose.
you cry out in pain and defeat as she fails to continue breathing.
you look down at your hands, they were drenched in blood.
so were your clothes, everything was bloody.
you look up, noticing you were no longer on the street in front of eddie's house, instead on the street where your younger sister had died 6 years before.
your tear drowned eyes look over at the car which once used to be your parents.
your parents were passed out in the front seat, airbags puffed up and shielding their faces.
what you vaguely remember to be 12 year old you's body was also laying passed out in the backseat.
you look down at your sister's body again, only to find it crumbling away like dust.
your eyes go wide and you panickedly try to somehow stop the crumbling.
though to no avail.
her body crumbled away into nothing, now it was getting hard to breath.
short, shallow breaths were escaping your lips, finding yourself unable to take a proper one,.
you look back at the car, now finding zero bodies, instead only two cars.
your head snaps back as the loud, echoing chime of a familiar clock is heard.
you gulp thickly, standing up while trembling and stumbling down to where the noise was coming from.
the chimes get louder and louder as you approach the familiar clock you had seen once before, it was sticking out of a tree this time.
you grit your teeth, ready to punch that damned clock.
you spin around as rustle of leaves is heard.
your chest goes tight and your eyes go wide.
"[sister's name].. you're alive!"
she looked just as she had the last you saw her, short and stubby, gorgeous, shiny [darker/lighter hair colour] hair tied in two cute pigtails, [eye colour] eyes shining.
though she looked oddly blank, not the usual cheerful face you were used to seeing.
though it didn't matter to you.
you run forward, arms extended for a big hug.
but you get close and she pushes you away.
you fall to the ground with an 'oof'.
you look up at her, "[s-sister's name].."
she narrows her eyes fiercely at you, "don't touch me, murderer"
your heart clenches painfully, "i-i.."
"you. you. you murdered me. it's your fault i died. but it's alright. it's what you wanted, right?"
your lip trembles and you vigorously shake your head, "no.. no!"
"don't lie. you were jealous. i know. that's why you undid my seatbelt"
you fists clench, blood dripping to the ground from your nails.
"no! that-that was a joke! i was just trying to be funny!"
"not very funny now, though, huh? it's alright. i get it. i was the favourite. you were just there"
your throat goes even more dry and words fail to form.
you sister steps forward, crouching down.
your eyes squeeze shut in anticipation.
though after a moment of feeling nothing, you open your eyes again.
there was nobody there.
you were sitting in the middle of the forest, nobody around you.
you bring your bleeding hands to your chest, standing up.
you look to the left and everything suddenly goes dark.
the sun goes into the clouds and the moon takes over, an eerie glow taking over.
you spin around in every which way as rustling leaves surrounds you, behind a tree to the right. no left. no ahead of you. no behind you.
there was noise everywhere.
you couldn't tell where one thing was coming from.
you clutch your ears, squeezing your eyes shut again.
and then the rustling stopped.
you slowly remove your hands and open your eyes, though you immediately fall back with a scream.
your sister and parents now stand in front of you.
your sister was in the middle, looking just as she had when she was dead on the road.
your parents stand on either side of her, bloody and battered, though still alive.
"you killed your sister"
"your fault. it's your fault your sister died"
"why did i die? why wasn't it you?"
words fail to form as you quickly crawl backwards, your family stepping closer.
you freeze, looking back as you hit something hard and slimy.
you gulp, looking up.
your throat squeezes itself as you meet the eye of something unhuman.
the thing had sorts of tentacles covering it's body, no nose or skin to be seen.
it was terrifying.
"your time has come, [name]"
you grit your teeth, quickly standing up and sprinting away.
you stumble and trip every so often, running as far as you can.
you duck behind a large rock, smacking your hand over your mouth.
"you can't escape me, [name].."
you grit your teeth, standing up and making a run for it again.
"eddie!" you scream, "eddie! eddie!"
your eyes widen as a red mist suddenly approaches,
the fuck is this shit?
you take a nervous gulp, stepping forward into the mist.
you look around as you enter, though grimacing as your shoe gets wet with a sort of slimy substance, "yuck.."
you look up, you had no clue where you were.
in front of you was some large sort of destroyed house, spiky pillars poking from the ground.
in the distance, you could see tons of clocks flying around, along with other random things.
