Because It's You

Chapter 15

Sarah71225

The transition from friends to lovers was a slow, beautiful unfurling. Their dating life began not with a grand declaration, but with a series of stolen moments: lingering glances on set, fingers brushing as they passed a script, and whispered conversations that ended with soft, breathless kisses hidden away from the ever-watchful eyes of the world. Love, bright and overwhelming, had showered them both, but they were determined to protect its fragile, early light.

Moving in together was out of the question—the rumor mill of the entertainment industry was ruthless. But the distance was agony for Win, who craved Bright's presence with a newfound intensity. Seizing an opportunity, he approached his parents. With gentle honesty, he explained that his chaotic schedule as a rising actor, with its late nights and constant travel, would disrupt their peaceful home. He needed his own space.

His parents, though saddened by the thought of their son leaving the nest, understood. They gave their blessing for him to find an apartment. Luck, or perhaps fate, seemed to be on his side when he found a perfect place that was surprisingly affordable and, most conveniently, located in the same upscale building as Bright's own apartment. Win presented it as a happy coincidence, a fortunate turn of events that would put him near a responsible friend. His parents, remembering Bright as the mature, well-mannered young man he portrayed so perfectly, were relieved. They entrusted their son's safety to him without a second thought.

"Please, look after our Win," Win's mother said, her hand on Bright's arm. "He can be so careless sometimes."

Bright smiled, the picture of impeccable grace and sincerity. "Don't worry, Pa, Ma. I'll take care of him. He'll be perfectly safe with me." His voice was smooth as honey, but his eyes, for a fleeting second, locked with Win's and held a dark, possessive promise that made a flush creep up Win's neck. He knew that 'taking care of' in Bright's vocabulary held a vastly different, far more carnal meaning.

This silent exchange did not go unnoticed. Win's younger brother, Mike, sharp and protective, saw the blush on his brother's face and the predatory gleam hidden beneath Bright's polite smile. As his parents turned to leave, Mike held back.

"I'll be right there," he told his parents, who nodded and continued to the car.

Mike turned to Bright, his expression shifting from familial warmth to a steely warning. He stepped close, his voice a low, threatening whisper meant only for Bright's ears. "Keep your dick in your pants. If you touch my innocent brother, if you hurt him... I'll break it off. Understood?"

Bright didn't flinch or retaliate. Instead, a slow, infuriatingly confident smile spread across his lips. "Don't worry at all, Mike," he said, his voice loud enough now for Win to hear. "I promise I'll take very good care of him." To emphasize the point, he pulled Mike into a brief, firm hug that was all show. Mike then hugged his confused brother tightly before shooting one last warning glance at Bright and walking away.

"What did he say to you?" Win asked the moment Mike was out of earshot, his curiosity piqued.

Bright laughed, a low, mischievous sound that vibrated through the quiet hallway. He leaned in, his breath ghosting over Win's ear, making him shiver. "He told me to make sure you're well-fed," he murmured, his voice dripping with sinful suggestion. "To feed you until you are completely full and satisfied."

Win's face burned scarlet. "You're impossible!" he stammered, punching Bright's arm half-heartedly before turning to escape into the sanctuary of his new apartment. Bright followed, his laughter echoing in the empty space.

The apartment was pristine, boxes still piled in the corner. The exhaustion of the moving day settled over them, and they collapsed onto the large, bare mattress in the bedroom, ordering food in comfortable silence. They ate cross-legged on the floor, their shoulders touching, a simple domesticity that felt more intimate than any grand gesture.

After they were done, Win groaned, patting his stomach. "I'm so full. I need to digest this."

A dangerous smirk played on Bright's lips. "I know just the exercise that will help."

Before Win could question him, Bright was on him, capturing his lips in a deep, claiming kiss that tasted of soy sauce and unspoken desire. The playful energy vanished, replaced by a thick, palpable tension. Win melted into the kiss, his hands coming up to tangle in Bright's hair.

What started as a suggestion quickly escalated into a desperate need. Clothes were shed in a frantic dance, leaving a trail from the living room to the bedroom. They fell onto the mattress, a tangle of limbs and hungry mouths.

Bright worshiped every inch of Win's body with his lips and tongue, tracing the lines of his abdomen, nipping at the sensitive skin of his inner thighs, until Win was a writhing, pleading mess beneath him. "Bright... please..."

"Please what, my Win?" Bright teased, his voice a husky growl against Win's hipbone. "Tell me what you want."

"You," Win gasped, his eyes glazed with lust. "I just want you."

That was all the permission Bright needed. The first round was a frantic, passionate reclaiming. It was the culmination of weeks of hidden touches and suppressed longing. Win cried out as Bright sheathed himself inside, the feeling so intensely familiar yet utterly overwhelming every single time. Bright set a punishing pace, each thrust punctuated by a whispered endearment, a claim: "Mine."

They moved together in a perfect, sweaty rhythm, the only sounds in the room their ragged breaths, the slap of skin on skin, and the creaking of the new bed frame. Win came with a broken sob, his name a prayer on Bright's lips as he followed him over the edge.

But Bright was far from done. After a brief respite spent tracing patterns on Win's damp skin, his hands began to wander again. The second round was slower, a deep, sensual exploration. Bright took his time, bending Win into positions that allowed him to delve even deeper, hitting that spot inside him that made Win see stars. He whispered filthy, beautiful things into Win's ear, painting vivid pictures of everything he loved about Win's body, everything he wanted to do to it. Win was reduced to a quivering, over-sensitive being, capable only of feeling and moaning Bright's name.

By the time the third round began, Win was boneless, pliant, utterly at Bright's mercy. Bright laid him on his side and spooned behind him, moving with a gentle, rolling rhythm that was less about frantic passion and more about profound connection. It was tender, almost lazy, but no less intense. Win felt filled, owned, and cherished all at once. He reached back, tangling his fingers in Bright's hair, pulling him closer for a sloppy, exhausted kiss as they both tumbled into completion for the final time.

Win was asleep almost before the aftershocks had fully subsided. Bright, ever the caretaker, gently cleaned them both with a warm towel before pulling the covers over their spent bodies. He lay there, propped on an elbow, just watching Win sleep. The moonlight streaming through the window illuminated the peaceful expression on Win's face, the faint blush still on his cheeks.

A triumphant, loving smirk touched Bright's lips. He leaned down and pressed the softest kiss to Win's forehead.

"Got you," he whispered into the silent, dark room, his voice filled with a possessiveness that was as tender as it was absolute. "You are right here, within my palm, in my home, in my bed. My Win. And I love you... I love you so much it terrifies me." And with that confession hanging in the air, he curled his body around Win's, holding his entire world close as they both drifted into a contented sleep.
