Teruya sweatdropped when he heard someone banging on the door. He knew exactly who it was, he didn't need to be a genius to know. As soon as he opened the door, he was tackled into a hug. "Otori, are you sure you're alright?!" Tsurugi asked, frantically shaking the poor merchant.
"Tsurugi, you're not going to get answers if you keep shaking him and making him dizzy." Rei deadpanned, separating the cop from the merchant. The red-eyed boy simply nodded.
"Woah, okay, hold on-" Teruya dizzily said, harshly slapping both of his cheeks and holding his head so his world would stop spinning already.
"Seriously though Otori, what happened? Did someone push you? Or was it an accident?" Rei questioned, worried.
"Oh, i-it was an accident! I was too close to the rails, and I got dizzy all of a sudden!" Teruya nervously explained "If it wasn't for Maeda though, I would have been a goner! I have to thank him for that." the merchant smiled.
"I'm just... I'm so glad you're alright..." Tsurugi sighed, hugging the boy again. Rei nodded in agreement, crossing her arms with a relieved face. Teruya couldn't help but smile at their actions. 'I'm glad I didn't die again there too... I wouldn't want to relive my life all over again for the 100th time.' the merchant thought.
"Sorry for worrying you two." Teruya apologized.
"Don't. How could we have known that would have happened?" Rei sighed. 'I can, because I'm a time leaper.' the merchant thought. He would have really wanted to tell them what the fuck was going on, but he was not ready to tell them yet. He didn't want them risking their lives to help him. It's enough that he already explained it to Utsuro, who he practically begged not to get physically involved in the fight against Zetsubou. 'I need to end this once and for all.' he thought, burying his face on Tsurugi's shoulder.
